The reality of high school sports today is that funding simply is not available from county school boards. St. Johns County is no exception and it is left to booster clubs, typically composed of parents and alumni to shoulder the load to ensure that the kids have the resources necessary to simply be able to play.
Nease Football has a rich and storied tradition of excellence, which makes the need for resources even more significant. With a first tier coach in Gator great and NFL alum, Shane Matthews, Nease Football has a chance to return to the highest levels of excellence in the Florida high school ranks.
While fundraising is an important part of our responsibility, your Panther Touchdown Club also provides the needed volunteers throughout the season. From pre-game meals, to game day concessions, to popsicle Tuesdays, there are any number of volunteer needs that we fulfill for the team.
Your Panther Touchdown Club is committed to providing the coach and its staff, the players, and most of all, Nease High School, with the resources needed to build the program and the school into a powerhouse of football and academics, with a strong commitment to honor, integrity and hard work. Your Panther Touchdown Club is the fuel for the engine of excellence while Coach Matthews and the players build the foundation of a continuing legacy for Nease Football.
