Danny Cowgill – Head Coach

Coach Cowgill, a 1992 graduate of Nease High School, was previously a defensive coach at St. Augustine High School where the Yellow Jackets were state runners-up in 2001.  While at Nease, he played inside linebacker and was a situational running back.  He went on to become a four-year starter at Lenior-Rhyne (NC) College.  After graduating he coached two years at Interlachen High School in Florida, and then went to the State University of New York at Canton where he served as defensive coordinator under former Buffalo Bills head coach Lou Saban before accepting an assistant coaching position at St. Augustine. This is his third year at Nease.  He is married to the former Ms. Sara Frilling, a Nease graduate and they have one son, Will.
