David San Juan – Associate Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator

 

Coach San Juan is a graduate of Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville and a Finance graduate from the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at SMU in Dallas. He is entering his 13th year coaching and his tenth year coaching at Nease and he also serves as assistant weightlifting coach. During his successful tenure at Nease, Coach San Juan has served as Associate Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, Defensive Line Coach, and Offensive Line Coach. He also served as Assistant Athletic Director. He is the Coordinator of College Recruiting for our players. Nease’s college recruiting program has placed 66 student-athletes from Nease into college football at all levels in the last five years, which is believed to be the most for public schools in the state of Florida. He serves as the Executive Director of the National High School Football Coaches Association and chairs San Juan Group LLC, an international consulting firm specializing in sports and business development. He is married to the former Fionnuala O’Neill and they have four children, Maria Carmen, Michael, Katherine Grace, and Doak Walker. The San Juan family resides in Ponte Vedra.
